Shirish Pareek is the Managing Director of AMG Partners. AMG is an investment and advisory firm he founded in 2019. Previously, Shirish was the CEO and Founder of Hydraulex Global, which he grew into the largest hydraulics re-manufacturing business in America. Under Shirish’s stewardship Hydraulex global achieved $90 million in revenue, exported to 50 countries, employed over 350 staff, and managed five manufacturing plants. He was also formerly a business strategy consultant with McKinsey and Company.

Shirish served two terms on President Obama’s Manufacturing Council and is currently in his second term as Co-Chair of the Skills and Workforce commission. Additionally, he is on the Leadership Council of MForesight, America’s foremost advanced manufacturing think tank. Shirish serves as Chairman of MiQ and a Board Member for DMI Companies, Inc., Adaptec, MxD, and others. MiQ is an advanced automation business with a focus on the life sciences industry working with companies ranging from start-ups to large public companies. MiQ develops robotics and vision-based automation system to solve the quality, speed, complexity, and scale challenges of companies through automated solutions. Adaptec Solutions is a $75 million material handling and manufacturing automation business headquartered in Rochester, NY. MxD USA is a public/private partnership funded by the Department of Defense and Department of Energy as well as over 300 private sector firms. MxD is responsible for developing both technology and policy related to digital manufacturing.

Shirish has been a member of the Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO) for the last 10 years and recently served as Chapter Chairman of the Washington, DC, Baltimore Chapter of YPO. He leads the YPO Manufacturing Coalition. This coalition consists of more than 250 US manufacturers and was launched in April 2020 to respond to the PPE crisis facing our country and aims at increasing net new PPE production capacity in the US.

Shirish earned a B.S. with University honors in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur, India, and an MBA with a specialization in Operations and Strategy from Carnegie Mellon University.
